If you love J.R.R.Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, and the Scottish actor, Billy Boyd, who portrayed Pippin Took in Peter Jackson's epic movie versions; and If you want to make a difference in our world, this is the place for you!

As Pippin so aptly stated in The Fellowship of the Ring, "You need people of intelligence on this mission.....quest.....thing".

Billy's Loon Charities consists of a group of fans of Billy Boyd, who want to recognize and honor him by contributing to charitable causes in his name. Billy is a patron of the Scottish Youth Theatre, www.scottishyouththeatre.org, and is leading a fundraising drive to ensure other young performers have the opportunities to succeed that he did. You might be wondering about our name of BBLoonsCharities. Well, on Billy's official site, there used to be a Community-Forum (non-existent now) where there was an Off-Topic Room, once called "The Loony Bin". The members of the site started to call each other loons, and it even spread to Billy's terminology. We feel it is an honor to be considered a BBLoon, and hope you will too.
